HAPPY EARTH DAY:)!

HAPPY EARTH DAY EVERYONE:)! I am posting reccomendations for the earth friendly cleaning and household supplies we love to use! I absolutely love Seventh Generation and ScotchBrite disinfectant wipes! It is perfect for my OCD germ fear as well as chemical contamination worries. You can use these wipes or sprays and they are effective at killing germs and there is no need for rinsing:)! I love the non-toxic essential oils in these products which are so complex that germs are not able to build immunity to them allowing these powerful essential oils of Thyme to attack the outer shell of hardy germs!  So I have been wanting to recommend these products they are like all that I use on every surface because I believe that it is better to try and clean with as few cleaners as possible to avoid mixing chemical compounds. What better a day to mention these great finds then on Earth day because they are not only fabulous to clean with but also very EARTH HAPPY & ECO-FRIENDLY! Using non-toxic and Eco-friendly products make me feel like a good mommy! I like dodging those harsh fumes and toxic residues of bleach and many other oldies. Also these disinfectants smell clean and herby to me...I like it!

"Female Urination Device"~ I know you are thinking, "What?!!!"

AHHH !!!
Hello everyone! I am so sorry it has been a while since my last post but I have just been trying to get my life together if you know what I mean! I have been taking care of my home and family while also hunting online for work at home or out in the real world jobs. I have worked at home for many places like Brightens Communications, Babytobee.com, Demand Media Studios, and textbroker.com. These work at home jobs offer a fantastic opportunity for people who suffer from OCD. I mean my biggest fear of going back to work is having to use a public bathroom lol! I actually waitress sometimes on a Saturday or Sunday at weddings at a resort near my home. I am always so nervous to have to use a public bathroom while I am there so I will actually not drink hardly anything before work...crazy I know right! I even took drastic measures by ordering a "Female Urination device" lol the "GO-Girl" in case I had to go...if you have never heard of this here is a link to what it is GO Girl...It makes me feel better knowing I have it if I ever had to go in some place like a dirty gas station rest stop lol!  But you know what I am starting to take a step back and breath and basically try to reason with myself...I mean what are the chances that I will pick up horrible germs from a bathroom if I really have to use it! I used so many public bathrooms as a child and most of the population does and all has been fine:) Thank the Lord:)! So here's a little tip to those of you that might feel the same way and have been struggling with such a situation...just try my technique...I stop....breath...close my eyes and think to myself..."Really what are you scared of? Everything will be fine!" Remember this my friends and God Bless you and your family always:)!

Spring is here and I am getting out and enjoying life and saying Fooooie to fear!

Break Studios update

Okay so I am writing an update on my writer application to Break Studios...guess what they didn't hire me?! I don't know why?!  I have experience working for Demand Media Studios and many published articles? Oh well please don't let that discourage anyone else go for it:)! I just think of this turn down as an opportunity which leaves a door open for something better to come my way, that is what I like to think:)! We must always stay positive right!

Okay I just applied for Break Studios for a work from home freelance writer position

I have worked for Demand Media Studios as a freelance contributor. I liked making $15.00 (per 500-800 word) article but I heard Break Studios has easier titles and pay $8.00 (per 250-400 word) article...meaning we can bang them out quicker. I will let you know if I got accepted and give you a review of how their whole process works and how it is to work for them. http://breakstudios.break.com/
I am always looking for work at home jobs so I can be a stay at home mommy who contributes some extra grocery money to our household's funds. I will share them with you...well the good ones when I come across them okay:)!

New Dating Site for SIngles with OCD.

This is a site I came across for people with OCD so they can feel comfortable dating other people who have the same issues...which may be great and maybe take some pressure off of the whole dating scene for those with OCD.  OCDSINGLESCAFE

SAFE BABAS & BATHS FOR EVERYONE!

These are just a few things that you can easily stay away from !

"Safe BaBa's for everyone!"

Stay away from plastics if you can! If you have a baby get glass bottles or BPA- free plastic!

Thankfully my mother-in-law got us these for our daughter when she was a little baby and they are made of strong glass and never broke! I still have all of them in my cupboard and can't bare to pack them away yet because it reminds me of when my little girl was just a little baby:)! Because of coarse our children will always be our babies no matter what age they are:)!

So research what your baby's bottles are made of:

Many baby bottles still have the chemical BPA  Bisphenol A - a chemical linked to heart disease and diabetes in humans and hormonal disruptions! Many hard clear plastics may contain BPA, here are some items that BPA may be found in....
  • Eye Glasses
  • Plastic Liners for tin Cans
  • Microwave ovenware and utensils
  • Teethers
  • Children's toys etc..
  • Plastic containers that contain the #3, #6, & #7 recycling Symbol.
Names for plastics that may contain BPA:
  • Polycarbonate
  • Lexan
  • PolySulfone
These release more BPA especially when heated! Keep those plastic bottles away from the microwave mommy! Also avoid reusing Plastic water bottles, they say that  The enzymes in our saliva can start to break down the chemicals in the plastic~ yucky backwash!

"We Want our babies to bathe in good stuff! Not yucky chemicals!"

Stay away from baby products with harmful unnecessary chemical additives! The latest news is that all our most popular brand named baby products have been revealed as containing many toxic carcinogenic ingredients! For example a Tear-Free baby shampoo is actually tear-free because they add a chemical that actually numbs the baby's eyes! Isn't that horrible! It doesn't mean that it is safer and "more gentle" it just has all these extra chemicals that are actually "more toxic" than anything!
So try to find baby and all personal care products with LESS INGREDIENTS!!! Here "Less is definitely more:)!"
I have been using Zosimos Botanicals' Apple Orchard Shampoo on my hair and my whole family, It works great! And it is rated a ZERO on EWG SAFETY DATABASE. It smells so yummy and it really rinses so easily and squeaky clean. You can use the Coupon code NR to receive 7 % off your entire order of any size at Zosimos Botanicals! All of their products are wonderfully 100% natural and toxin-free! I love their makeup and skincare and it makes me feel better knowing it's healthier for my child:)! If she wants to play with mommy's makeup no freaking out is necessary lol!
Also  try to stay away from harsh Laundry and dish detergents. The clothes you that we wash are lying directly on our baby's skin and they say that our skin is our largest organ that absorbs everything! Dish soap is another one to choose carefully because they clean the plates and silverware that they eat from and the cups we drink out of! Many popular brands also contain many toxins so we want to use something with no toxins and one that will not leave chemical residues!
A great alternative for this could also be a liquid based Castile soap with a few drops of natural essential oils for fragrance or you can go for the more "Green" plant based detergents, that are now available in many stores:)! I love the shop Alice.com
they have so many natural cleaning products and always offer free shipping! I have been using this laundry detergent and I love it...it's called BioKleen

This is a non- toxic laundry detergent, and it cleans awesome in money saving cold water loads:)! I also add drops of  Organic Eucalyptus Essential Oil. 10 ml. 100% Pure, Undiluted, Therapeutic Grade. which minty smell freshens up the laundry and is known to repel bedbugs. I also love this non- toxic dish soap when washing those not too germy dishes that clean up great with only some hot water and a few drops! Seventh Generation 22734 Natural Dishwashing Liquid, Lavender Floral & Mint, 25 oz. Bottle and Sun & Earth's

They clean dishes well and I feel so much better knowing that the dishes were washed with a non-toxic soap so no need to worry about toxic chemical residues...in-case my husband didn't rinse them enough..I know I do because I am such a "Good neurotic mommy:)!" lol  " But this just makes me feel so much better and saves me from extra crazy OCD rinsing! lol
If you have any concerns about products that you & your family are using I suggest you check there status and hazard level on this site, it's really great because you can look up almost any product by company or brand...And I wish you the best of luck!!! It is so scary to read what the products we use really contain! But check it out
"Better to be  informed!"
The Environmental Working Group's searchable database of toxic ingredients in cosmetic and personal care products.

If you have any questions or concerns you can always contact me , just  drop me an e-mail! I am always here if you have any questions or you need to talk to someone:)! I say being a little neurotic about what we bring into our home is a good thing ...it means we really care:)!!!
